Prime Minister Narendra Modi Sunday flagged off the sixth Vande Bharat Express train connecting Nagpur to Bilaspur. During the event, Modi also laid the foundation for the redevelopment of Nagpur and Ajni railway stations.
Addressing a gathering in Nagpur, PM Modi said the infrastructure development in the last eight years has been done with a human touch.
“In the last eight years, we have changed the mindset and approach with ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas’ (with everyone’s efforts and trust), ” he said.
11 Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is on a visit to Maharashtra and Goa on Sunday, flagged off the sixth Vande Bharat train on the Nagpur-Bilaspur route. After flagging off the new Vande Bharat Express, PM Modi purchased a metro ticket as he launched phase I of the Nagpur Metro. Taking a ride, the PM interacted with students and locals.
The PM will also inaugurate projects worth over Rs 75,000 crore in Nagpur and inaugurate the Mopa Airport in Goa. He will launch and inaugurate railway projects worth more than Rs 1,500 crore. He will also dedicate ‘Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering and Technology (CIPET), Chandrapur’ and ‘Centre for Research, Management and Control of Hemoglobinopathies, Chandrapur’ to the nation.
