The Chief Justice of India made announcement in top Court of India.
The CJI Chandrachud informed the layers present in the court room at the out set. As he said Friday will be the last working day of the top Court before it goes on a two week winter break. The apex Court will be open on January 2.
When the issue regarding top Court vacation has been raised earlier also about judges, including former CJI N.V. Raman had said there is a misconception that Judges stay in altimate comfort and enjoy their holidays,such a narrative is untrue.It is difficult to swallow such false narrative.
Regarding this In July CJI Ramana had said on the occassion of S.B.Sinha memorial lecture in Ranchi,On Life of a Judge, said Judges spend sleepless night rethinking their decisions.
The CJI made announcement in apex court, although CJI said to wake up law minister Kiren Rijijus statement in Rajya Sabha in which he said there was a feeling among the People the long court vacations were not very convenient for justice seekers.
