Ajay Devgn has taken off on a spiritual sojourn while his latest release ‘Drishyam 2’ mints big money at the box office. The actor shared a picture from his pooja at the Kashi Vishwanath temple in Varanasi and expressed, “Been waiting for this for a very long time!” Police personnel were seen guarding Ajay Devgn as he knelt down in prayer.
Helmed by Abhishek Pathak, ‘Drishyam 2’ scored Rs 104 crore nett at the end of its first week. Apart from Ajay, this thriller also stars Tabu, Shriya Saran, Akshaye Khanna, Ishita Dutta and Saurabh Shukla in lead roles. Speaking about reuniting with Tabu, Ajay had shared, “The good thing about my friendship with Tabu is that we do not need to reflect on it. The bond is deep, and we can pick up from where we leave it each time. On screen, I share a wonderful equation with her because she is a brilliant performer.” The duo will also be seen sharing the frame in Ajay’s next directorial ‘Bholaa’, which is an official remake of Tamil action thriller ‘Kaithi’.
