Atma Prem Giri Maharaj hails originally from Russia, but his heart and soul are firmly rooted in Sanatan Dharma. He embraced Hinduism nearly 30 years ago, leaving behind a career as a teacher to fully dedicate himself to spiritual pursuits. He now resides in Nepal and is a respected member of the Juna Akhara, one of the oldest and most prestigious Hindu monastic orders.

His presence at the Maha Kumbh Mela has drawn large crowds, with devotees gathering around his camp to seek his blessings and wisdom. A viral Instagram post featuring the 7-foot ‘Muscular Baba’ has captivated netizens, with many flooding the comments section with chants of “Har Har Mahadev!”
