नई दिल्ली: भारतीय मूल की रूबी ढिल्लों (Ruby Dhalla) कनाडा की राजनीति में इतिहास रचने के लिए तैयार हैं! वह लिबरल पार्टी की लीडरशिप रेस में शामिल हुई हैं और अगर जीत हासिल करती हैं, तो कनाडा की पहली महिला प्रधानमंत्री बनने का गौरव प्राप्त कर सकती हैं।
सिर्फ राजनीति ही नहीं, बिजनेस और मेडिसिन में भी पारंगत
ढिल्लों सिर्फ एक राजनेता नहीं, बल्कि एक सेल्फ-मेड बिजनेसवुमन, डॉक्टर और तीन बार की सांसद भी रह चुकी हैं। वह कनाडा में बढ़ती महंगाई, अपराध दर, हाउसिंग क्राइसिस और अमेरिकी टैरिफ के खतरे को सबसे बड़ी चुनौतियां मानती हैं।
उन्होंने कहा, “अमेरिका की टैरिफ नीतियां कनाडाई मजदूरों और अर्थव्यवस्था पर सीधा असर डाल सकती हैं, इसलिए हमें अन्य देशों के साथ साझेदारी करनी होगी।”
भारत-कनाडा संबंधों को देंगे मजबूती
ढिल्लों का कहना है कि कनाडा में भारतीय समुदाय की बड़ी संख्या को देखते हुए, भारत के साथ रिश्तों को मजबूत करना बेहद जरूरी है। हिंदी में बोलते हुए उन्होंने कहा,
“कनाडा के बिजनेस और वर्कर्स को अन्य देशों के साथ काम करने का मौका मिलना चाहिए।”
