Farooq Abdullah, the National Conference president, has been summoned by the Enforcement Directorate to appear for questioning on Thursday in a case of alleged money laundering.
According to official sources, Farooq, who is 86 years old, has been summoned in the context of the federal agency’s investigation into the JKCA’s alleged irregularities. Farooq, who represents Srinagar in the Lok Sabha, was charged in the case by the Enforcement Directorate in 2022.
