Acharya Satyendra Das says devotees respond in positive way to an appeal for patience Darshan.

Acharya Satyendra Das, Chief Priest of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, acknowledged the steady influx of devotees at Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir, revealing that an appeal for patient darshan is being heeded. Following the Pran Pratishtha ceremony on January 22, where the idol of Ram Lalla was unveiled, the temple has witnessed a continuous flow of visitors.

On the fourth day since the ceremony, Acharya Satyendra Das noted that devotees are now patiently and calmly experiencing the darshan, in compliance with the earlier appeal. Despite the initial heavy turnout, the crowd has since demonstrated discipline. Devotees, undeterred by the early morning fog and cold, persisted in arriving for the darshan of Ram Lalla, expressing immense emotions about the rare opportunity. Priyaram from Bengaluru shared the joy of finally witnessing the deity after years of anticipation. Siddhalingeshwar, another devotee from Bengaluru, expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

IG Range Ayodhya, Praveen Kumar, provided insights into crowd management measures, detailing the arrangements for the Paush Poornima festival and the enhanced public transport system. Security measures, including baggage scanners and physical frisking centers, were emphasized to ensure a safe environment. Acknowledging the cooperation of the administration and police personnel, IG Range Ayodhya commended the disciplined conduct of devotees. He appealed to visitors to minimize their belongings to expedite the darshan experience at the Ram Mandir.

On the occasion of Paush Poornima, devotees are participating in rituals, taking a holy dip, and arriving on foot from surrounding areas at Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir. Two lengthy queues, each spanning a kilometer, have formed, with a mandatory deposit of belongings at the Public Facilitation Centre (PFC), equipped with baggage scanners and a physical frisking center.

Ensuring the safety of devotees, IG Range Ayodhya, Praveen Kumar, highlighted the enhancements in the public transport system for the secure travel of visitors. Devotees are adhering to disciplined darshan procedures, displaying enthusiasm without causing chaos. The coordinated efforts of the administration and police, directed by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, contribute to the smooth functioning of the arrangements.

In a plea to optimize the experience at the Ram Mandir, IG Range Ayodhya urged attendees to minimize luggage. Emphasizing the need to save time, he encouraged people to bring fewer belongings.
