It also vaulted it into the ranks of the greatest Indian stock market debuts ever. Tata Technologies has risen to the top thus far this year, surpassing IdeaForge Technology Ltd.’s premium of 94.21% on debut. A 140% gain over its IPO price, the stock listed for Rs 1,200 a share on the National Stock Exchange and Rs 1,199 per share on the BSE.
Early trading saw a gain of up to 180% to Rs 1,400 per share, but it later pared gains to trade at 167.9% above the IPO price at Rs 1,339.50 per share at 12:31 p.m. At that moment, the NSE Nifty 50 was trading 0.22% down.
