Shooting to Begin in February
Monalisa Bhosle, the 16-year-old viral sensation from the Prayagraj Maha Kumbh 2025, is all set to make her Bollywood debut. The young girl from Khargone, Madhya Pradesh, who captivated millions with her striking looks while selling rudraksha garlands, has signed her first Hindi film, ‘The Diary of Manipur’.
Director Sanoj Mishra Confirms the Film
Renowned filmmaker Sanoj Mishra, known for directing The Diary of West Bengal, personally visited Monalisa’s home in Maheshwar to offer her the role. He later shared the news on his Instagram page, confirming that the film’s shooting will begin in February 2025.
From Flower Seller to Internet Fame
Monalisa, who has been selling flowers and garlands at Kila Ghat, Narmada River, became an overnight star when a content creator’s video of her at the Maha Kumbh went viral. Her mesmerizing eyes and traditional look turned her into a social media sensation.
While her newfound fame has opened doors, it has also disrupted her daily life. Instead of buying garlands, visitors now stop her for selfies, often leaving her overwhelmed by the attention.
Bollywood Beckons
Despite the media frenzy, Monalisa returned home from the Maha Kumbh, where she met Sanoj Mishra and discussed her future in films. While neither she nor the director has disclosed details about her role, her Bollywood debut is already creating buzz.
With her journey from a humble flower seller to an actress, Monalisa’s story is nothing short of a real-life fairytale, and all eyes are now on her big-screen debut!
