The Maharashtra state police sports Championship will be held at Wanowries State Reserve Police Force Grounds one and two.
The sports event which starts on Saturday will feature 2,833 state police officers competing in 18 different Sports this sports event will include 18 Sports like wrestling, swimming, weight lifting, bodybuilding, boxing outdoor sports and football.
Pune police commissioner Ritesh Kumar said that as a host city Pune police has done a lot hard work for the success of the tournament and every minute development has been taken care of. police officers from Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad will form a single squad to represent the district.
The Chief Minister Eknath Shinde will officially launch the tournament. the sports event will be concluded on January 13 with Deputy Chief Minister Devendra fadanavis in attendance.
