Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that his government is encouraging youngesters to pursue a career in sports, the centre would provide 5 lakhs annually to encourage a career in sports.
Our government is attentive that no youth should be left Behind Due to shortage of money ,the Prime Minister said on Sunday.
The country is forging new definitions and creating a new order in sports, the Prime Minister said, finally being viewed from the athletes perspective and not from the government.
Now the sports ministry budget has been increased almost three times since 2014.
In fact there was no lack of passion and talent for sports among the youth in India but it was the unavability of resources and support from the government that created hindrance in past.
