Much awaited expansion of the state cabinet with Governor Bhagat Singh koshiyari administrating the Oath of office to 18 ministers at the Raj Bhavan in Mumbai.
Chief minister Shinde said “today we have done the first phase of expansion, in the second phase we will certainly accommodate more ministers. Sindhe had obtained the support of 40 of the 55 sena MLAs to win the confidence, similar Assurance Echoed from BJP.
From BJP inclusion of Ministers are party president Chandrakant Patil, Radha Krishna vikhe Patil, Sudhir mungantiwar, Vijay Kumar Gavit Girish Mahajan, Ravindra Chavan, Suresh Khade and Mangal Prabhat Lodha.
From Sindhe Camp are Gulab rao Patil, Dada bhuse, Sanjay Rathore, sandipan Bhumre,uday Samant, Tanaji Sawant , Deepak kesarkar, Abdul Sattar and Shambhu Raje Desai .
The expanded cabinet composition reflects regional and caste equations.
