Ministry of Civil Aviation is giving a special Impetus to providing air connectivity to the remote places of North Eastern states.

In Assam Pawan Hans launched 6 Udan helicopter routes.

Under the RCS Udan scheme will provide connectivity on the Dibrugarh- Jorhat- Tejpur- Guwahati- Tejpur- Jorhat- Dibrugarh network that will also play a key roll in promoting tourism in North Eastern states.

 

To boost the air connectivity within the state of Assam, Pawan Hans Limited a national helicopter career owned by the Ministry of Civil Aviation commencement its helicopter service in 6 roots in the state.

 

The aim of Civil Aviation is to boost air connectivity within these state by offering the fastest mode of travel to connect Tezpur, Jorhat and Dibrugarh from the state capital.

 

The helicopter services will also play a key roll in promoting tourism activities in the state. and official statement said.

 

Pawan Hans has deployed one twin engine Dolphin helicopter having a seat capacity up to 11 passengers.

 

The Inaugration of RCS Udan helicopter operations took place at Guwahati airport and the senior officials attended the event. Maninder Singh AddI chief secretary, Padmapani Bora secretary tourism, government of Assam, Sanjay Kumar, General Manager Pawan Hans wear present at the event.
