The Assembly election in Tripura was held on February 16 and in Nagaland polling was held on February 27.
Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP ) managed to secure majority with 32 seats in Tripura.
In Nagaland bagged 12 seats while its ally The NDPP got 25 seats.
Now Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma along with BJP President JP nadda met Union Home minister Amit Shah in Delhi on Sunday.
Sarma is also convener of BJP led North East democratic alliances, according to a source cabinet structure and government formation were discussed in the meeting.
although Manik Saha name has been endorsed by party High Command BJP rushed Sarma to Agartala as a section of MLA has pushed the name of Union Minister pratima Bhaumik as the new CM of Tripura another sources of Tripura unit of BJP said.

The result of Assembly elections held in north eastern state like Nagaland Tripura and Meghalaya was announced on 2 March.
Now It is confirmed that Manik Saha will be the next CM of Tripura.
