Regarding and unpaid electricity bill the victim women of Andheri Mumbai got a call on her husband’s phone.
After responded a fake message of an overdue electricity bill became a victim of Cyber fraud, amounting to rupees 6,91 ,859 it further said that an electricity connection will be disconnected if the wheel remain unpaid.
A phone number was also given in message the victim called on the mention number and unknown person picked up the call and identified himself as employee of Adani Electricity office ask victim to down download the app.
A total of rupees 6,91, 859 was debited from her account , SBI fraud management team contacted victim and asked about the recent transactions on which she refused the transactions from her side.
After getting call from Bank the victim found that a fraud happened with her, the victim file and FIR at Andheri Police Station Police have registered a case against and unknown person under sections 420 66(c) and 66(D)at IPC.
