Arun Govil, Sunil Lahiri, and Deepika Chikhalia, renowned for their roles in Ramand Sagar’s ‘Ramayan,’ recently visited Ayodhya to film an album titled ‘Hamare Ram Aayenge.’ During an event in Ayodhya, Arun, who portrayed the character of Lord Ram, expressed his sentiments about the Pran Pratistha Mahotsav of Lord Ram.
Arun Govil emphasized the significance of Ayodhya’s Ram temple as the ‘Rashtra Mandir,’ believing it would revive cultural values globally. He expressed pride in the temple becoming a source of inspiration and a representation of national identity. Arun Govil was moved by the scale of the consecration event, calling it the most significant moment of his life.
Sunil Lahiri, who played Laxman, considered himself fortunate to witness the Pran Pratishtha Mahotsav, acknowledging the positive and religious atmosphere prevailing in the country. He emphasized that those unfamiliar with Ram should read Ramayana to understand the teachings of Maryada Purushottam, emphasizing the importance of living with dignity.
Deepika Chikhalia, who portrayed Goddess Sita, expressed confidence that their characters from Ramayana would continue to receive love even after the construction of the Ram temple. She noted the enduring love people have shown and believed that their images would remain in the hearts of the public.
The album ‘Hamare Ram Aayenge’ features the vocals of Sonu Nigam and was filmed at notable locations such as Guptar Ghat, Hanumangarhi, and Lata Chowk. The trio, along with other cast members, is expected to attend the Pran Pratistha ceremony, adding to the significance of the occasion.
