On the Pune-Mumbai Motorway, 1 died and 7 were injured

The deceased has been identified as Sangali resident Raju Gavade (40), who was employed by the bus company as a substitute driver.

State highway police officers reported that a private bus collided with a trailer truck on the Pune-Mumbai Motorway near Borghat, resulting in one fatality and at least seven injuries. When the event was reported on Sunday at about 1:40 am, traffic movement was impeded for a while. Girish Rajaram Dhekale, a 43-year-old Karad resident, was operating the private bus (MH09 GJ 9630) that was travelling from Mumbai to Pune, according to the police. According to authorities, Dhekale lost control of the bus and collided with the trailer truck. The deceased has been identified as Sangali resident Raju Gavade (40), who was employed by the bus company as a backup driver.

Gavade perished instantly since he was seated on the side of the bus that sustained the most damage in the collision. Senha Mehta and Jitesh Chaturvedi were sent to the Lokmanya Tilak hospital in Pune for treatment, while Shailesh Shetke, Pradip Shivaji Chavan, Sudhir Bhagwat, Rahul Bhagwat, and Rohit Bhosale were taken to the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Hospital in Kamothe, Navi Mumbai.
