Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh koshiyari conveyed his desire to pm to quit from governor’s post.

Bhagat Singh koshiyari has told PM Modi of his desire to relinquish office, when Modi was in Mumbai on January 19.

Following a 3 year tenure marked by controversies and refractions relationship with the uddav Thakre late maha vikas Agadi dispension.

Koshiyari, 80 A former MLA ,MP and CM of Uttarakhand, Expressed his desire to spend the rest of his life reading, writing and pursuing other activities.

Koshiyari said in the statement that” it was an absolute honour and privilege for me to serve as the Rajya Sevak aur Rajyapal of a great state like Maharashtra the land of saints, social reformers and valiant fighters.

The observer pointed out that the governor is appointed by the President of India on the advice of the PM and Council of Ministers any decision to relinquish the post has to be formally approved by the office of the President.
