To save Costitution , will fight till my last breath ,West Bengal chief minister Mamta Benerji said.

At the fourth convocation of St. Xaviers University, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamta Benerjee said that everyone should work to protect the unity of the country.

She said further that she will fight till her last breath to protect the constitution. This is our constitution which lays the foundation of India has a secular democratic country.

She continued saying let us fight hunger, latest fight poverty, let the fight in justice and inequality.

St Xaviers University Vice Chancellor Father Felix Raj said Mamata Banerjee was honoured for her contribution to the field of social services and the spread of education.

In her last speech Mamta Benenarji said that she will set up a chair at the private University in the name of Mother Teresa.

She was handed DLItt “Doctors of letters” in presence of governor CV Ananda Bose at a function at St. Xaviers campus.

Accepting the honour Benerjee said she was dedicating it to the people of West Bengal, and of the country, without whom I am nobody, I am what I am because of the common man. She announce that the state government will set up a chair at the private University in the name of Mother Teresa.
