Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced that the district Institute of Education and Training will be developed for reformulating teachers through curriculum, professional development and surveys.
Shr further announced that 30 skill India International centres in states and launch of a unified skill India Digital platform for demand driven formal skilling.
Under Pradhanmantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana ,training course and curriculum as well as practical skills are imparted.
Sitharaman promised to provide stipend 247 lakh youth in the next 3 years a target that will be accomplished through direct benefit transfer initiated under the Indian National apprentice ship promotion scheme.
Under this budget the centre will recruit 38,000 teachers and support staff for the 740 Eklavya model Residential School, serving 3.5 lakh tribal students the plan to boost Eklavya schools to improve the socio-economic conditions of the vulnerable tribal groups.(PVTGs).
The pvtg mission will allocate rupees 15,000 crore to help the development of facilities like safe housing ,clean drinking water and sanitation improved access to education and sustainable livelihood.
Finance Minister also announced PM Vishwakarma Kaushal Samman ,a package of assistance for artisans and craft workers which will enable them to improve quality and scale of their products.
