Narendra Modi flagged of 2 Vande Bharat trains from Mumbai to Shirdi and Solapur on Friday.

At an event at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus in South Mumbai Modi first flagged of the (CSMT) Solapur Vande Bharat Express and later and later another semi high speed train linking the financial capital to sai Nagar Shirdi temple town in Ahmednagar district town.

 

PM Modi said that Vande Bharat trains reflection of India’s speed.

The traffic authority said that Central Railways has organised a programme at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus platform number 18 is also scheduled on Friday in Marol campus in Andheri, East for a large number of citizens were present in attendance.

 

PM Modi dedicated to infra projects including the Santa Cruz Chembur link road extension bridge and underpass along with two Bande Bharat Express trains.

 

The Bande Bharat Mumbai Solapur train and Vande Bharat Mumbai Shirdi train will be an important step towards full feeling the Prime Minister vision of building better more efficient and passenger friendly transport infrastructure for a new India.

 

The Mumbai Solapur Vande Bharat Express train will connect Siddheshwar in Solapur, Akaalkot, Tuljapur and Pandharpur near Solapur and alandi near Pune.

The current super fast trains take 7 hours 55 minutes the Vande Bharat Express will complete the journey in 6 hours 30 minutes and will reduce 90 minutes time between Mumbai and Solapur.

 

PM Modi said that India will have to improve public transport rapidly. modern Trends are being introduced and Metro services are being expanded, new airports and ports are being constructed in line with our vision to take the country forward.

 

Modi further said the Quicker our public transport system becomes modern, the more will be the ease of living of the people. It will bring a significant change to their way of life.

 

Modi said that our thinking bears ample refraction in the union budget, for the first time rupees 10 lakh crore has been allocated for infrastructure development. This is five times more in comparison to the outlay in the last 9 years.
